1955—Sign to Columbia Records

1956—Sign to Cadence Records

1957—Score their first hits, "Bye Bye Love," which goes No. 1 country and No. 2 pop

1957—Make their Grand Ole Opry debut

1957—Score their first No. 1 pop, country and R&B hit, "Wake Up Little Susie"

1960—Sign to Warner Bros. Records

1960—"Cathy’s Clown" goes No. 1 in both U. S. and England

1965—"The Price Of Love" goes No. 1 in England

1970—Star in TV special: Johnny Cash Presents The Everly Brothers on which their father, Ike, makes a guest appearance

1983—After a decade of recording and performing separately, brothers stage reunion concert at Royal Albert Hall in London, which also results in live album and video

1984—Return to pop charts after a 23-year hiatus with their recording of Paul McCartney’s "On The Wings Of A Nightingale"
