The Nashville Songwriters Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit foundation dedicated to honoring and  preserving the songwriting legacy that is uniquely associated with the Nashville music community.  The NSF's purpose is to educate, archive, and celebrate the contributions of the members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame to the world of music.  The NSF is governed by a 13 member board of directors.  Each year the Foundation inducts three songwriters into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Plans are currently underway for the construction of a permanent hall of fame structure to house a facility honoring the members and their songwriting careers.  The Foundation has researched and created a database as the definitive reference resource on the lives and careers of the Hall of Famers. mail@nashvillesongwritersfoundation.com
